On this page you'll find test dates and other information on various tests taken by our high school students.

The ACT


The ACT is a test designed to recognize college readiness in 11th graders. It tests students on their skills in English, Math, Science, Reading and Writing.

Each test cost $46.00 without the writing or $62.50 with the writing. If you choose to register after the registration deadlines there will be a late, nonrefundable fee.

The PSAT/NMSQT

The SAT

The PSAT is the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test which prepares students for the actual SAT exam. The SAT is the college admissions test which all juniors in the State of Michigan will take during spring 2019 testing. The PSAT is a National Merit Qualifying Test. If students score in the 99+ percentile, they may qualify for national merit scholarship opportunities.  Sign up for the October 2019 PSAT/NMSQT test is  October 16,  2019.

TEST DATE: Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 7:45 am.  The cost is $15.00.

The SAT test is the 11th Grade test that measures two sets of skills - verbal and mathematical reasoning. The SAT is given on various dates throughout the year.  It is recommended that the test be taken during the spring of the student's Junior year.

Advanced Placement Tests

ASVAB Test

Tests will begin at either 8:00 am. or 12:00p.m.  Contact Mr. Stephenson or Mrs. Alexander for additional testing information.

There will be a handout in your AP classes September 2019.  The handout will explain the due date for testing fees.  Due date for AP will be October 24, 2019.

The ASVAB (Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a general aptitude test that highlights strengths and weaknesses administered by the armed forces. The ASVAB is given in December each school year. There is no fee to take the test. Students must sign up in the Guidance office several weeks in advance of the test date.
